a woman I had met
spoke to me
about falling on the floor
the chair nearby became
the possibility of continuing to live
for without it she would had to give
to the floor and
choose not to stand
it was her only way up
over the cliff I looked each day
admiring how my life had changed
in so many ways
one day it appeared for me
the chair of possibility
ever since then
when I see a lone chair
I wonder what would happen
if I were to sit there?
